This Privacy Policy describes how AI Ringtone Studio (the "Application") handles information when you use our iPhone ringtone creator. The Application is provided by the developer of AI Ringtone Studio ("we", "us", or "our").
Information We Collect
AI Ringtone Studio does not require an account, sign-up, or login. We do not ask for your name, email, phone number, or location inside the app.
The following data is stored locally on your device:
- Onboarding preferences such as goal, style, mood, and genre choices
- Saved ringtones, edited versions, and favorite selections
- Theme preference (light or dark)
- Downloaded ringtone cache for offline playback
- Auto cache cleanup and storage-related settings
- Free AI generation allowance and premium unlock state
Third-Party Services
The Application may use the following services to provide core functionality:
- Firebase Hosting CDN — to download the public ringtone catalog and hosted audio files when you browse or download sounds.
- Apple App Store / StoreKit — to process in-app purchases and subscriptions.
- RevenueCat — to validate subscription status and manage purchase entitlements. Limited app-event attributes may be sent to RevenueCat to support subscription features.
We do not sell your personal information. We do not run third-party advertising trackers inside the Application.
How We Use Information
Local data powers app features such as library storage, favorites, editor sessions, offline playback, and preferences. Purchase-related services use Apple's and RevenueCat's infrastructure only to deliver subscription access you choose to buy.
Data Storage & Retention
Your saved ringtones, favorites, and preferences remain in the app's private storage on your device through Core Data and local app storage. Downloaded catalog audio is kept in the app's cache directory until you clear it or enable automatic cleanup. Deleting the app permanently removes associated local data from your device.
Network Requests
When you browse the catalog or download audio, the app requests public catalog JSON and audio files from our Firebase Hosting CDN. These requests do not include your saved library contents or personal profile.
Children's Privacy
The Application does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Because no account is required and personal data is not collected on our servers, the app is suitable for general audiences under COPPA and similar standards.
Your Control
You can edit or delete saved ringtones and favorites at any time, clear downloaded cache from Settings, and uninstall the Application to remove all local data from your device.
Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy to reflect app improvements or legal requirements. When we do, we will revise the effective date above. The core commitment — local-first storage, no accounts, no sale of personal data — will not change without clear notice.
